Advantage Moderates CCCBI’s Women’s Professional Development Conference to “Elevate Your Career”

Advantage Engineers’ Environmental Division Director, Rachel McCaffery, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, will moderate the morning session during the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry’s (CCCBI) 2016 Women Influencing Business Professional Development Conference which will focus on helping women to “Elevate Your Career.” The event, which takes place on September 20 at QVC, Inc., in West Chester, Pennsylvania, will highlight several topics surrounding how women influence business regionally.

The panel McCaffery will moderate includes Kenya Jacobs, US Compensation Manager with IKEA and Michelle Legaspi Sanchez, Executive Director of the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls. Their panel will cover topics including the steps women influencing business can take to raise awareness and close the gender gap in employment.

“I am very excited to be hosting a discussion on the state of women's issues with Michelle Legaspi Sanchez as well as Kenya Jacobs,” said McCaffery. “In particular, I am eager to hear their perspectives on issues facing business women in our region and beyond as well as positive indicators that point towards improvement.”

The CCCBI’s Keynote panel discussion speakers include Carol Mitchell Ph.D., Co-Founder of Talent Strategy Partners and Sara Canuso, Founder and President of Women That Influence. Mitchell has worked with Fortune 500 companies to identify and develop leaders who will create a unique work environment driven by results. Canuso is the author of “You’ve Always Had the Power” which focuses on the philosophy to “empower, elevate, and impact” women. 

CCCBI’s Women Influencing Business Program celebrates the accomplishments of female business leaders in the region and serves to grow and develop personal and professional skills. The conference will also have networking opportunities to cultivate relationships as well as an optional tour of the QVC, Inc. facility.
