National Engineering Week

Advantage Engineers is a proud sponsor of National Engineering Week and the Future City Competition. 

Annually, more than 40,000 students from 1,350 middle schools participate nationwide in the regional Future City competitions. Led by an educator and engineer mentor, students learn the basics of city planning and management as they design a virtual city using the latest SimCity software. The national grand prize is $7,500 for the winning team’s school or after-school’s STEM program plus a trip to U.S. Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.
