What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a key and active member of the senior management team, overseeing, leading, guiding and directing all activities of the Global Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and exercise the agility to move swiftly in relation to marketing related problems/opportunities.
  • Provide input to all strategic service roadmaps and all new service development projects.
  • Develop and execute corresponding sales and marketing plans for Advantage Engineers’ service lines.
  • Lead the process for continuous evaluation of trends in the marketplace, including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence across all markets and service lines.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies; establish the measurement of marketing program effectiveness.
  • Select, implement, manage, and optimize a CRM system.
  • Build sales and marketing team; develop strategy for department centered around: business goals, company branding, sales support functions, and departmental effectiveness metrics.

You should have:

  • BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 7+ years’ of recent and relevant sales & marketing experience within the professional services, engineering, or construction.
  • 5+ years in a leadership position.
  • Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, sales, marketing, product development and key operational groups.
  • Proven record of leadership and managing a sales organization with global responsibility and establishing long term strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and is able to assist in identifying and providing solutions to complex operational issues.
  • Ability to create clear action plans.
  • A demonstrated record of accomplishments in developing successful marketing/sales programs and new product introductions.
  • Proven ability to deliver results through others, both direct and matrixed.

Advantage Engineers is seeking a Project Manager to work in our Telecommunications Division in our Fairfield, NJ location. The successful candidate will have significant project management experience in the wireless telecommunications industry and have a history of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.

Job Description & Duties:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the site development process including leasing, zoning, A&E drawings permitting, environmental and regulatory compliance, material orders, construction management, and site close out.
  • Manage staff and other resources to meet the project goals.
  • Communicate project requirements and status to team members including clients, subcontractors, and others.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project tracking reports and submit to client and other team members as required.
  • Accountable for meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality control of project deliverables.
  • Responsible for overseeing the financial performance of assigned projects including preparing accurate monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, project billing reports and purchase orders.
  • Be the primary point of contact with the client.
  • Attend all client meetings and work out of client office as required.

Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering, construction management, related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 + years’ experience in wireless site design, construction, and development.
  • Experience managing personnel.
  • Knowledge of national and local building codes.
  • Prior project management experience on multi-site project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Prior work experience with T-Mobile’s Parsippany NJ office preferred.

Advantage Engineers is seeking an IT Support Specialist in our Columbia MD office. The position reports directly to the Senior IT Manger and is required to have knowledge and experience with the following skills, software and services:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical phone support and hands on help for all Advantage Engineers employees and affiliates when required. Also responds to emails and texts when assistance is required.
  • Assists users in troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Provides support for Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8 and 10).
  • Assist users with application specific issues, including software licensing issues.
  • Utilizes Active Directory database to reset passwords and create or manage users.
  • Controls user’s computers utilizing remote access tools.
  • Travel to offices in PA, MD, and NJ to assist with IT support as needed.
  • Provide database asset management tracking and inventory duties.
  • Assist with setup and deployment of new computers and devices.

General Skills:

  • Networking- Understanding of Windows domain based networking environments.
  • Understanding of Windows based OS (Windows Server 2008 & 2012 and Windows 7, 8 and 10).
  • Exchange and Office 365 – Understanding or willingness to learn.

  • Experience with typical applications utilized by most office employees preferred. Including, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • 1 year experience in helpdesk environment preferred.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for site construction support which may include installation of towers, mounts, antennas, feed lines, electronic cabinets, shelters, etc.
  • Able to read a compass to figure azimuths.
  • Complete required reports and other paperwork, some of which may require computer entry.
  • Closely adhere to all safety standards and procedures. Identify gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provide recommendations to higher level technical staff and management.
  • Read and implement project drawings and specifications.
  • Identify essential materials and tools to complete scope of work.
  • Assist client with equipment orders, managing warehouse inventory and return or used/unused site equipment.
  • Identify and approve qualified construction general contractors to utilize on projects.
  • Submit bid documents to approved general contractors and coordinate all aspects of the bid process, including scheduling the bid walk, review of bids, production of a bid package and construction recommendations.
  • Create and manage the construction schedule for each site. The schedule will consider permitting, materials availability, contractor availability, utility provisioning as required, network deployment timing, cost efficiency, property owner availability and any other variables.
  • Administer the construction contract for the accuracy of bid package to actual cost and schedule adherence as reasonably possible.
  • Perform and / or supervise a feasibility walk to determine whether the proposed site may be properly constructed according to quality and technical standards.
  • Communicate with client operations and systems performance personnel before starting any site work, mobilize general contractors and manage completion of site work in continuous communication with client personnel. Provide post-work summaries immediately upon project completion and procedure closeout packages to client specifications.
  • Prepare a punch list for overall construction completion and management of contractors to have same completed. Ensure the construction contractors obtain all proper inspections and final sign-offs, recorded easements, etc. Finalize and present a complete closeout package.
  • Prepare and update site status reports, databases and project forecast reports.
  • Develop new business opportunities with clients.

Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office suite. Database, customer tracking systems experience a plus.
  • Ability to create detailed and concise reports and tracking tools for all aspects of a project.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to site/work remotely.
  • OSHA 10 and / OSHA 30.
  • CPR / First Aid.
  • Able to pass initial background check and substance screening.
  • Driving record must meet Advantage Engineers insurance standards and must maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge in a Technical Trade, Maintenance, Electrical Instrumentation and / or Operations.
  • Experience using basic power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with employees at all professional levels and ability to respectfully follow supervision.

Advantage Engineers is seeking a Tower Technician/Construction Manager. The position is based in our Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania office and will require market coverage/travel throughout the northeast and Midwest area. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Skilled use of fall arrestor system-Body harness, Carabineers, Lanyards, ropes etc.
  • Safely climb Monopoles, Lattice, Guyed Towers, Water Tanks and other various telecommunication structures.
  • May perform work in a bucket truck or man lift at heights (typically up to 150 feet).
  • Ability to map towers, mounts and appurtenances (includes measurements of members, bolts, mounts, antennas etc.).
  • Must be able to read a compass to determine Azimuths or utilize antenna alignment tools.
  • Complete required reports and other paperwork, some of which may require computer entry.
  • Closely adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to read and implement project drawings and specifications.
  • Identify essential materials and tools to carry out scope of work.

General Skills:

  • Must be able to pass a physical exam, background investigation, and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must pass Competent Climber and Rescuer certifications.
  • Must be able to work atop freestanding towers that exceed 300 feet in height.
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders that exceed 300 feet in height.
  • Must be able to accommodate out of town travel on a frequent basis.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and work effectively with limited supervision and aggressive project schedules.
  • Excellent computer and reporting skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Understanding or experience in leasing, zoning and Site Acquisition services a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Comtrain Certification required (may be completed during a probationary period of employment).
  • Minimum 2 years wireless telecommunications experience.
