Mr. McGrath, Chief Executive Officer of the firm, has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry and has held senior positions in large national and international engineering and consulting firms. For the past 20 years, Mr. McGrath has been involved with the acquisition, development and construction of wireless communications facilities and networks. He has managed the design and construction of hundreds of wireless communications sites in the Mid-Atlantic region and thousands throughout the United States. Mr. McGrath is familiar with building codes, zoning regulations and construction materials and methods.
Mr. Strickler, Chief Financial Officer of the firm, provides executive finance and administration leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Strickler has 25 years of corporate finance and administration experience encompassing public accounting, consultancy, manufacturing, retail, ecommerce, international finance and large publicly-traded companies. He is active in the community, serving on non-profit boards and as a guest writer on leadership topics for the Central Penn Business Journal. Mr. Strickler is committed to the “servant leadership” philosophy, and has a passion for business strategy, quality and continuous improvement.
Mr. Knight, Vice President of Telecommunications of the firm, has over 12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He provides conceptual direction and daily operational management to Advantage Engineers. He sets goals and provides functional oversight for the Production, Safety, Quality, Client Relations, Business Development and Human Resources departments. In addition to these duties, Mr. Knight is responsible for all corporate legal matters including contract negotiation and corporate compliance. With vast experience in site acquisition and land use, Mr. Knight has managed several projects with many of the largest wireless carriers throughout the United States and internationally.
Ryan Shields, President and Co-Founder of Synergy, set out with the goal of fostering organizational growth to develop teams capable of delivering successful results in the demanding wireless space. Since 2004, he has grown his company to be one of the leaders in telecommunication consulting services. Ryan has years of experience in the engineering and construction industry and has held senior positions in several large national engineering and consulting firms.
Mr. Schauble, Director of the Geotechnical Division of the firm, has over 17 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering services during the design and construction phases of projects. Corporate responsibilities include daily management, business development, client management and staff development. His design experience includes development and implementation of subsurface investigations, deep foundation design, stabilized slopes, and earth retaining structures and settlement analyses. His construction-phase experience includes quality assurance testing programs, direct oversight of staff completing on-site engineering reviews and in-house soils and construction materials testing. Mr. Schauble has extensive experience managing geotechnical engineering projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Ms. McCaffery, Director of the Environmental Division of the firm, has over 14 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering. Her project background includes large scale environmental sampling and remediation programs, civil site planning and design, geotechnical design, demolition planning and abatement, stream channel remediation and restoration, wastewater studies, stormwater compliance and green building design. In addition to her technical background in the areas of remediation and site redevelopment, Ms. McCaffery has also managed engineering, construction, remediation and consulting projects for a wide range of clients as well as led project management development and training programs for rising leaders in her field. Ms. McCaffery provides direction to the environmental team and is responsible for ensuring operational and technical excellence across the division. Her management responsibilities include operations, staff development, oversight of project execution, program management, client management, and business development.
Mr. Brenneman, Director of Human Resources, provides strategic direction in the areas of employee recruitment, compensation, training and development, and benefits. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from George Mason University and a Master’s degree in human resources management from Widener University. He joins Advantage Engineers with 20 years of corporate human resource management experience and holds senior-level certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Ms. Langley, Director of Marketing of the firm, is a 15-year senior consumer and business to business marketing veteran. Over the course of her career, she has created best practices to accelerate business growth across startups, mid-market and enterprises. With strong expertise in business and marketing intelligence, she has led her teams in making data-driven marketing decisions. Ms. Langley joined Advantage Engineers in 2017 and will bring her vast marketing background to the telecommunications, geotechnical and environmental engineering industry leading the marketing vision of the organization.
