Advantage Engineers was awarded a contract by a premier provider of communications, engineering, and integration solutions to provide engineering and environmental services in support of a new public safety radio system. The project comprises 25 sites throughout a large county in suburban Philadelphia for which we will provide civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical engineering services, as well as all environmental assessments and regulatory compliance required.
The client was awarded a $20 million contract to provide a new public safety radio system for a large county in suburban Philadelphia. The state-of-the art system will significantly improve emergency responders' ability to communicate during incidents and will allow communication with multiple agencies that provide mutual aid from surrounding counties. The system will also provide improved coverage and capacity over the current conventional radio technology that is more than thirty years old.

National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review, including:
- State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) submission
- Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO) consultation
- Archeological & 1A Survey
- Geotechnical investigation
