CASE STUDY:

Eagles Fans Score new DAS

The Challenge

The national wireless carrier that provides service to Lincoln Financial Field (home of the Philadelphia Eagles) needed assistance with designing and constructing a Distributed Antenna System (DAS). The system required redesign and relocation of existing wireless infrastructure and design and installation of the new equipment to provide superior connectivity service to thousands of sports fans. The stadium plays host to multiple sports teams and doubles as an entertainment venue for concerts and events. With so many scheduled events, it was essential to complete the installation and upgrade without network interruption.

Our Solution

Advantage Engineers completed initial upgrades in 2007 by completing a comprehensive survey and providing design services to install a DAS system. The initial project called for fiber and cable installation, construction drawings, and project and construction management. Satisfied with our first project output, the customer continues to engage Advantage Engineers, tapping into our staff of certified professional engineers to design and upgrade the telecom infrastructure for Lincoln Financial Field.
