Emergency Maintenance on Rooftop Tower Site
Advantage Engineers performed emergency architectural and engineering consulting services for a rooftop tower site in a residential condominium community in Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey. The site’s operator contacted Advantage after discovering a leak due to ice damming. The project included repairs to each conduit penetrating walls.
Our scope of work involved the dispatch of a telecommunications professional within 14 hours of notification from the site operator. Advantage coordinated the initial procurement of repair materials in advance of site assessment. The site technician installed temporary tarps to maintain LTE network speeds. The site technician also deployed a dehumidifier and seal penetrations, including the use of hydraulic water stop cement, until the site operator found a more permanent resolution.
